Walk Palma Old Town with Daniela
Let me show you my Palma de Mallorca from a local’s perspective. We will walk through the streets of this old town outside of the tourist traps. During our 3-hour tour, you will listen about the history of this city. I will show you hidden places with beautiful gardens, patios, monasteries and churches. Oh, and the ‘window shopping’ as we walk along the narrow and busy streets is amazing!

Visit Cathedral Le Seu
The most popular visit in Palma de Mallorca is Le Seu, the grand Gothic Cathedral which overlooks the huge harbor. Through our walking tour, I will take you to my favorite historic sites and stop along the way to eat at cafes that are known for great and authentic Mallorca foods.

Try Local Foods in Palma de Mallorca!
Let’s go and buy some cookies in a way you never did before, directly from the Nuns! Then we will stroll through the Jewish quarter and look for secret signs on the walls. There are only seven in the town! These signs are in the vicinity of old-fashioned small shops and show the owner’s head. Who will find the most? During our walk, we will enjoy a tasting of typical small tapas, savory or sweet. One of our stops will be in an ancient place on a narrow street with tasty local pastry. For sure, consider the almond ice cream, must be top of the list!

Did you know that the one-of-a-kind pastry from Mallorca is ensaimada. I know the best bakeries so that you will experience this tasty desert as a sweet, coil-shaped pastry. So, during the 17th century, wheat flour was used for making bread. Delicious pastries are made from pork lard and sold throughout Mallorca Island. However, only some bakeries have the plaque which indicate their ensaimada is official and genuine.

Visit Mercat de l’Olivar
This is a traditional market in Palma de Mallorca where the locals go for their food and enjoyment of meeting friends. Mercat de l’Olivar offer the best and freshest local meats, fish, poultry, vegetables and much more. This visit will be in our walking tour of Palma. We can look around the market and then settle down for a delicious lunch served with your favorite drink.
